...you all need to give ole' Joel a break here. Obviously, he needs the money and attempting to appease techies world wide will improve his fame and name recognition. (Source: My opinion)

I would certainly hope Jobs made it to Glory but chances are his electronic gadgets satisfied his need to worship.

This morning Joel Osteen on TV tells that Steve Jobs was into Buddhism after he ditched church at age 13. Joel went on to say that Steve on his death bed said "wow, wow, wow"before passing away which Joel says,"I cannot be sure but seems to me he went to Heaven." His whole message was about don't judge and God is God of Christians, Muslims, Athiest, ect. He mixes some truth with Universalism and come out with a smile as he say it.

Key phrase in above post

Joel says, "I cannot be sure . . . "

That's all we need to know!!!! No move needs to come out of Joel's mouth!!

How anyone can say what another man believes or knows in their mind is beyond me. The father of lies can influence believers. Fact is we don't know, even if the evidence points to him being lost. Stop with the emphatic judgement.

Just wow! This post explains a lot.

John 14:6-Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me

Acts 4:12-Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Are you trying to "school me", by making up your own argument and then dismantling it? You do know there is a description for that....don't you. No one, so far as I can tell has suggested anything remotely resembling your implication here. But be of good cheer, you are not the only one that likes to do this sort of thing.

It explains I'm not going to play God. Have fun with that. If you actually care to engage in what I actually said and not what you wanted to hear.

Anybody that sits here and tells me they know for a fact Steve Jobs is in hell is a complete liar and should join Westboro.

My biggest question is, "Who care what Joel Osteen has to say about anything?"

He's thumbing false doctrine. This he does all day long. What he is thumbing is basically the carnal ideology of 'don't judge', when in fact Paul gave us signs of the professing lost in the church, and we can, in fact make 'emphatic' judgments, and are called upon to do so. To further the case, we are also told to judge ourselves as well, 2 Cor. 13:5, 2 Peter 1:10.

Keep the faith and continue to fight for it bro.

there is ONLY One true God, and Jesus is ONLY means to get right with Him!

Steve Jobs renounced the christian faith to heedanother, so ANY who rejected Jesus as their Lord and Saviour would be forever lost...

Jesus and Paul agreed with that, so they "judged" for us on this, Eh?

IF we cals and Arms and Non cal cannot agree that rejectionof jesus is to have etrnal judgement still abiding on all who do that, then?

"Yall" keep putting up your own statement (a statement that no one has made) No one has claimed that rejection of Christ is acceptable, all that has been said is a simple truth YOU and I do not know the eternal status of others, It is not OUR decision as to their eternal destiny. What makes you think we don't agree? Answer.........nevermind.

why can we not "judge", if we base that judgement upon what the person declared himslf as to what he thought of Jesus and Christianity though?

Good answer, here there are folks who have their handy, dandy as seen on TV Holy Spirit detector going again. The truth is no one has a clue, only speculation.

So we cannot say that those who have refused Jesusas their Lord/Messiah will have to 'wait and see" then?

Why do you speak when you need to be the one listening to the poster?

Please...... (face palm)

Let me tell you something Evang. There is plenty in my life (thoughts, words, actions) that are classified as sin, iniquity and transgression. My journey is life is to grow, mature and bring as much into an honorable state before God. And you know what.....I know that YOU have just as much "baggage" (sin, iniquity and transgression) as do I. If you want to "encourage" fine....encourage. But please save your pontificating for someone else.
