So, in your estimation, God can judge wicked people with suicide and other forms of death. But Christians acting in self defense can't be a means of God’s judgement?

God reserved that for the Civil Magistrate. He tells us to love our enemies.

“So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD and did not obey the LORD’s instructions; he even tried to conjure up underworld spirits. He did not seek the LORD’s guidance, so the LORD killed him and transferred the kingdom to David son of Jesse.” (1 Chronicles 10:13–14) (NET)

That's a mighty strange way to spell 'yes'.

It is such a touchy subject, I think it's best to keep silent unless scripture spells it out.

So if a murderer is attacking someone who isn't employed by the government, they should not resist?

Personally, I would not use violence against them. Knowing God controls all for his glory. If we cannot discern his glory in any event, we need further bible study.

Nor should you defend them, unless you are employed by the government ?

    Crazy stuff.

I’ve asked you several direct questions since your return you have not even addressed. Since yer constantly preaching do unto others I’m going to assume you don’t want me answering your questions either. Besides, my comment was to Rob.

I've had way too many responses to my posts and possibly miss some of them. I apologize if I missed any of your replies. But look forward to reading them and trying my best to give a biblical answer.

I've been checking your postings and I find only endorsements of others trying to refute me. But I do not see any of your questions directed towards me. If you have any, would you please re up them so I can answer? Thanks for your time.

I used the quote function. There should be no reason you cannot find them.

I looked on your member page and didn't see any post other than today's directed to me. Sorry if I cannot find them, but if you think any are important, please ask again.

If that's your personal conviction, it's not my business to dissuade you. I have many family members and kin in Christ who are pacifists. But on the flipside, I'm not the one trying to persuade others to my view.

No. I looked on my profile page and it took me 39 seconds to find them.

You may as well accept that fact that I believe you are representing yourself fraudulently here and I don’t plan on wasting much time with you.

Your “inability” to find my questions only only heightens my suspicions.

I learned not to judge others' motives. We can judge their works. But when we judge motives, we condemn ourselves by revealing our own motives. But we need to realize, all do not have the same motives as we do.

For me it takes more courage to face an enemy unarmed. But can you look back on your life where you suffered abuse and wrong without defending yourself? And committed your defence to the Lord? And later saw the outcome of those who came against you?

I think the Lord has been training me in this path for some time. And honestly, I shudder when look back on how things turned out for my enemies after I refused to defend myself, and placed my defence in the Lord's hands. I have some stories if a thread ever develops for sharing testimonies of providence.
