    That is the default position of the sinner.
    They do not seek God or His truth until God gives grace and mercy to them.
    Your out of context verses are like Adam making a covering of fig leaves to cover the fall.
    You seek to see together a patchwork of out of context verses to cover the truth of God being in absolute control.
    God has not kept these truths secret but are revealed in scripture to those who can open them by prayer and humbly seeking the truth

    So, God's shed blood is insufficient to save. His atonement (payment) for sin was only partial in your theology. Man must merit his own salvation in your theology.

    John Bunyan, in Pilgrims Progress, likened this to the person who attempts to jump over the gate rather than be let in by the gatekeeper.

    then why does the Bible say, “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near"? Isa 55:6

    Here is passage from John Calvin

    Which is shed for many. By the word many he means not a part of the world only, but the whole human race; for he contrasts many with one; as if he had said, that he will not be the Redeemer of one man only, but will die in order to deliver many from the condemnation of the curse. It must at the same time be observed, however, that by the words for you, as related by Luke — Christ directly addresses the disciples, and exhorts every believer to apply to his own advantage the shedding of blood Therefore, when we approach to the holy table, let us not only remember in general that the world has been redeemed by the blood of Christ, but let every one consider for himself that his own sins have been expiated, on Mark 14:24

    Clear that Judas was also addressed by Jesus in the use of YOU, as he was one of the 12 Disciples. This passage in Mark is that which Luke has in chapter 22, here Mark says "many", which Calvin rightly says "not a part of the world only, but the whole human race". Including Judas!

    I agree, as Jesus gave Judas the chance to repent. He said that whoever He dipped the choice piece of meat in the sop with would be His betrayer. He said it'd be better for the man who betrayed Him if that man had never been born. And when Judas was preparing to meet with the temple police who were to arrest Him, He told Judas to go & do what he had to do quickly.

    Besides those things, He chose Judas as a disciple, knowing Judas would betray Him. Thus, Judas saw & heard Jesus' ministry & observed His miracles. But Judas, being a Zealot as the other Judas was, became disappointed in Jesus when he realized Jesus was not gonna free the Jews from Roman rule. Thus, he chose to betray Him, even though Jesus made it known to Judas that He knew of the betrayal plan, & all but asked Judas if he wanted to repent. So, Judas had every chance to repent !

    That directive is offered to all who hear the gospel.
    When God draws them they will seek indeed as Jesus seeks them.

    The god you follow is not able to have his way with rebellious sinners? If my God wanted all sinners to be saved, they would be!
