What do you mean by "using politics?" You steer the abortionist by speaking truth. I want to be a source of truth, and truth transcends politics and everything else. Christ told the woman at the well to sin no more. That includes all sins, including political sins.
People hate truth unless Christ changes their hearts. The Pharisees are a prime example.

Do you realize the level of hatred in America over politics?

It's not about politics. It's about morality. That's what drives the hate, and Christ warned us this would happen.

Donald Trump was loved when he was on the world's side on abortion. He only became hated when he moved over to the life side. Nothing to do with his personality. He was beloved. It's about truth and morality. If you side with Christ you become the enemy.

Agreed. And Christ uses the foolishness of preachers, preaching the truth about sin and salvation. There is no change without truth. You abandon truth, you're sitting on the sidelines. You won't be hated, but you won't make a difference either.

If you speak for Christ only, in love, you won't need politics. And you will attract the spiritually hungry instead of driving them away.

Many times we assume our calling is one thing, when scripture says it is another. What about Paul's advise? “For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” (1 Corinthians 2:2) (KJV 1900)

What is the best way to stop abortion? Or people receiving handouts? Certainly it is not speaking out against these evils, it is preaching Christ and the changes he makes in people's hearts will take care of the rest. But political hatred only drives them away.

So you want to send a message to Fundamentalist and Evangelicals but not your own church, right? And it irks you that someone would preach against murder?

It's not about politics. It's about morality. If you abandon morality, you're preaching a false gospel.

Yup. Republican congressmen are getting shot at recreation and attacked at their homes mowing the lawn. People (professed Christians) are literally praying for something awful to happen to Trump.

And the KKK is a hate group, and doesn’t preach a message of salvation through Christ, and has no interest in bringing people who don’t agree with them into the mix. The example wasn’t extreme, it was ridiculous. I wonder why you picked them ?

If a message against sin makes people think it’s a political attack then that’s on them.

Why do you assume I show partiality? If you preach Christ, he will change hearts so that you do not need to club them into submission.

So, why do we associate Christ with all of this hatred?

Yes, but legalistic morality is not genuine. Changed heart morality is. Preach the gospel, do not club people into false obedience.

Aren't you attacking Fundamentalists and Evangelicals by accusing them falsely in my opinion of political involvement when you have nothing to say about your denomination, which I submit is quite political in support of liberal causes, as evidenced by your denunciation of politics here?

This is a doctrine of Satan, you will find it nowhere in scripture. The Bible is a sword. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
“To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.” (1 Corinthians 9:22–23) (ESV)

Not only some Baptists, or some Evangelicals, but some Lutherans too, and some Reformed. But not all are political.

I remain politically neutral, so I can witness to all. Can you?
Stuff your self piety. I will not answer such arrogant grandstanding garbage.

And no, you are not neutral. You only challenge one side of the spectrum.

Crabtownboy claimed neutrality. He was as transparent as you are.

It was always a matter of forced morality instead of Christian morality based on the new Birth.

Which has what to do with politics ?

Oh wait, I know. When we preach a political message we drive some away that are turned off by our political message. Am I right ?
