I had briefly studied this so-call "Christian" universalism in 1969 from someone who believed and taught it.
I heard about it in the 2000s.

Without the general redemption there is no gospel for the not yet a believer to hear Christ died for one's sins, Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.God's elect will certainly know that their sins were imputed to Christ and that He suffered the penalty for them and that Christ's righteousness has been imputed to them so that they possess a perfect righteousness that they could never produce.
Without the general redemption there is no gospel for the not yet a believer to hear Christ died for one's sins, Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.
There is no such thing as a particular atonement and general atonement at the same time. Also there is no such thing as "Christian" univsalism. Because it is not Christian. And with universalism what one believes cannot matter.
Without particular atonement there is no Gospel, for if Christ didnt die for a particular people, substitute for them and saved them, there would be no Gospel good news for any sinner.Without the general redemption there is no gospel for the not yet a believer to hear Christ died for one's sins, Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.
Then I do not think you understand universalism or redemption.Denial. Universalism does not require the redemption, because if universalism were true our disagreement would not matter.
Did Christ die for you? Are you one of the elect? 2 Peter 1:9? Matthew 13:20-21. Where is the gospel in the word of God that asks did Christ die for you? 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 5:8, Isaiah 53:6.God's elect will certainly know that their sins were imputed to Christ and that He suffered the penalty for them and that Christ's righteousness has been imputed to them so that they possess a perfect righteousness that they could never produce.
Universalism, it does not matter what one believes. In the false gospel one needs to ask, did Christ die for you? Only if you come to believe that He did. Then I do not think you understand universalism or redemption.
General redemption necessitates universalism. How you do not see this I don't understand. Either Jesus sacrifice covered you or it didn't.Universalism, it does not matter what one believes. In the false gospel one needs to ask, did Christ die for you? Only if you come to believe that He did.
Did Christ die for you?
There is no gospel without the understanding of general redemption in 1 Corinthians 15:3-5, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 5:8. Nowhere in the word of God is the question, did Christ die for you? It is not not a needed question of the general redemption. Without the general redemption, the not yet saved would not have any Biblical basis to know before they believe Christ died for them, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Isaiah 53:6 and Romans 5:8.General redemption necessitates universalism. Of course there is because there is no general redemptionThere is no gospel without the understanding of general redemption in 1 Corinthians 15:3-5, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 5:8.
There is no need for the non elect to know it because He didn't die for them. There is no gospel without the understanding of general redemption in 1 Corinthians 15:3-5, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 5:8. So in the parable of the sower Christ only died for the good ground? There is no need for the non elect to know it because He didn't die for them.
Christ only died for the elect, that is what I am saying, that is what the Bible says. That is what Christ himself said.So in the parable of the sower Christ only died for the good ground?
So in Matthew 7:21-23 Christ only died for those who do God's well?

You got it wrong. Yes, Christ died so secure His sheep. But He indeed died for all of man kind. 1 John 2:2, 1 John 5:19.Christ only died for the elect, that is what I am saying, that is what the Bible says.
