We can agree on this, and yes, find comfort....I am going to assume that by mentioning Calvinism, you didn't specifically intend to necessarily exclude Arms and other non-Cals because I think we can all agree with this OP and indeed find comfort in God's will being done in all things.

I was not considering Greek Religion as "Uniquely" Western.......It was heavily influenced by the near East: Egypt, Persia, even possibly Judaism to some extent etc...I was referring more to the completely European people groups. Give me the credit of assuming I know at least enough about...
