    What Was Adam Pre-Fall

Are you equating Adam's Stature with Christ's?

    What Was Adam Pre-Fall

This part of the passage is what i really was trying to highlight concerning the topic of this thread. I do not believe God is restoring us back to Adam, nor do i believe the Scriptures teach that. I believe that Christ gave us life and that is something unique and different from what happened...

    What Was Adam Pre-Fall

What Scripture states that "Adam had intimate relationship" with God? We can infer, but that's not what the text says. Or does it?

    What Was Adam Pre-Fall

I find it interesting that this spiritually Dead Adam was receptive to the voice of God. Just sayin'

    What Was Adam Pre-Fall

To be fair, this is a narrative that we've created--right wrong or indifferent.

    What Was Adam Pre-Fall

How so? Edit--The Romans 1 passage said that creation testifies to the realities of God--perceiving came into play after Adam ate of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil.

    What Was Adam Pre-Fall

What was Adam pre-fall? Let's see what the Scriptures say... 1 Corinthians 15 42 So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. 43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. 44 It is sown...

Just how does the wrath of god be appeased if no penal Substitution?

God's wrath was not poured out on His Son. It has yet to be poured out... Romans 5 9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 1 Thessalonians 5 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our...

WHERE DOES IT SAY GOD'S SABBATH IS ABOLSIHED AND WE ARE COMMANDED TO KEEP SUNDAY AS A HOLY DAY?

Those who are a part of the New Creation in Christ Jesus are not restricted by laws of the old order. The old creation is perishing.

WARNINGS NOT TO DEPART THE FAITH (HEBREWS 6:4-8; HEBREWS 10:26-39)

This could describe the 10 lepers in Luke 17:11-19. It does not say that the 10 were saved.

    Tell me about the CSB

I chose to read the CSB this year for my yearly Bible reading plan. It's been a blessing to me so far. That is all :) .

Anyone here read "The Death of Death in the Death of Christ"?

Greetings, brother! I'm tracking you here. Revelation 21 starts with John "seeing" a new "dwelling place" of God (His people)--and there will never be "death" again--in other words, there will never be separation (not necessarily physical death) from God and His people.

    Adam's Death and Person

    Did Jesus die spiritually?

    Adam's Death and Person

The context says physical death. That IS proper exegesis, brother. Maybe it's a semantics thing, but I definitely agree we are separated from God, both positionally and relationally. Positionally, we are unrighteous and condemned to death. Relationally we are children of wrath. And if we die...

    Adam's Death and Person

Question, how was Paul "alive" once, apart from the Law?

    Adam's Death and Person

And for the record...the Bible is clear... John 3:18, 36 (KJV) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that...

    Adam's Death and Person

I think we can have a discussion without flipping out. I hope. Just show me that Romans 5:12 is Spiritual death and I will concede.

    Spiritual Death II

I believe that a man is born flesh, soul, spirit. I state those Scriptures because it is evidently clear that Christ's physical death is what brought reconciliation, the forgiveness of sins through His blood. There is a narrative out there that says Adam spiritually died therefore Christ had...

    Spiritual Death II

Hebrews 2:14-15 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, he likewise shared in their humanity, so that through death he could destroy the one who holds the power of death (that is, the devil), and set free those who were held in slavery all their lives by their fear of death.

    Spiritual Death II

Hebrews 9:12, 14 and he entered once for all into the most holy place not by the blood of goats and calves but by his own blood, and so he himself secured eternal redemption. how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify...
