    A very interesting God.

In St. John chapter 8 Christ is having a dialog with the unbelieving Jews and he told them in verse 23 that they were from beneath and of this world. In verse 24 Christ also told the Jews that they would die in their sins, but this verse does not end here, he goes on and say's IF ye believe not...

    A very interesting God.

So IMO the summary of your post is there is no faith involved at all by the recipient regardless of the way the cals believe faith or the Arminian believe it. Faith is left completely out. Also according to you some will come under gospel salvation and some won't but they are saved anyway so...

    A very interesting God.

Correct me if I'm wrong but PB believe in a eternal salvation and a gospel salvation. The eternal salvation is already accomplished for the elect, in Christ Jesus. This eternal salvation is being born again by the Holy Spirit of God which man has nothing in any way to do with. Gospel salvation...

What sin(s) is the most difficult for you to kick?

When they lay this body in the grave I will be free from sin, but in Christ I am free indeed.

What sin(s) is the most difficult for you to kick?

I think we should all remember as Christians whether we are guilty of committing one sin or the other, in the flesh we are still capable of committing every sin in the book except sinning against the Holy Ghost. There goes me, but by the grace of God.

    When were you saved ?

I believe God reveals in time to the elect sinner what he has done in eternity, Eph 1:4 According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world. In Gods mind I was saved when he chose me. When Christ Jesus went to the cross and put away my sin by the sacrifice of himself and his...

    A very interesting God.

pinoybaptist, I have a question, If you came upon a very bad automobile wreck and let's say a very dear friend or unsaved relative was pinned under the car and there was no help of any kind any where, just you two and this person was slowly dying, but was conscience, would you talk to them about...

    When were you saved ?

DHK the scripture you referred too, the PB understands this as time salvation, meaning we are being saved.

    Will become a church member

The church houses is full of people that never read a bible other than Sunday school or follow the pastor in his message. People like this reminds me about the joke when two men were talking and one ask the other, when it comes to church, what do you believe ? why, he said I believe what my...

    Will become a church member

There is a big difference in human responsibility which Spurgeon preached and human ability which he didn't preach.

    Will become a church member

Arminian, free willers, whatever you want to call them build their evangelistic message around two points, God loves every one and Christ died for every one. This is the very opposite of God chose the elect and Christ died for the elect. There is so much difference in their belief, one must...

What sin(s) is the most difficult for you to kick?

Maybe you are referring to me as I said in another post, blessed is the man in whom the Lord will not impute sin, and when God views us, He only see's us in his Son. This is our standing in Christ, We as Christians have the righteousness of Christ and not our own. I view myself as nothing but...

The biggest threats to Biblical Christianity in 2014

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.

    How often do you sin?

Micah 7:18-19 Who is a God liken to thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage ? he retaineth not his anger forever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou...

    How often do you sin?

Here is yet another one of those scripture, Isa 43:25 I, even I am he that blotteth out thy transgression for mine own name sake and will not remember thy sins. Isa 38:17 Behold for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul hath delivered it from the pit of corruption: for...

    How often do you sin?

Quantum here is another scripture you can disagree with. This is concerning the new covenant, Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know ye the Lord: for they shall know me, from the least to the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I...
