No... not even close. It is a biblical theology of the New Testament. And Beale is probably one who leans toward covenant theology, although his emphasis and expertise is biblical theology rather than systematic theology.

Most of the southern baptist seminaries (6 of them) have actual colleges. The one at Southeastern is called C@SE or College at Southeastern. I like their program but it is geared less toward Bible kawledge and more critical thinking for seminary level work. But that is just an opinion knowing...

Honestly, I only know a few from SWBTS (profs of SEBTS who got PhDs from SWBTS). But SEBTS is the best of the 6!!! :D

And if we are thinking the SBC route, College @ Southeastern (or College @ Southwestern) would be a better choice ;) ((Just b/c it's not Southern :D))

Not saying he shouldn't, but my point is that it is hard to provide quality education that is accredited AND affordable at the same time. LU and NOBTS are out of his price range too.
