This is a "movable nu". Εστι(ν) The "ν" is added to keep from having two vowels run into each other. *[if the word after εστι began with a vowel, εστιν would be used]* Many Greek texts have standardized the spelling to εστιν. Εστι only occurs once in the NA27 and not at all in the NA28...

I do use those most frequently, yes. I have others. I do look at Louw-Nida regularly, but I consider the others above more trust worthy. I do not think Louw-Nida is bad. You just have to use discernment at times....keep your guard up. There is often very good info to be found in Louw-Nida...

I have found Louw-Nida to be pretty user friendly on Olive tree. All the hyper links take out all the work. But do believe Louw-Nida to be less useful than BDAG, Friberg -ALGNT, Mounce-CED, EDNT and TDNT. I know these are all different animals, but at times Louw-Nida provide weird conclusions...

Yes, but one can share the same thought a variety of ways using a variety of words. The arguement is that God inerrantly inspired the thought and the vocabulary/words were provided by the human vessel. Usually linked to conceptual theory. The message is inerrant, but we have the "voice of God"...
